Itinerary

DAY 1: THU – USA/PRAGUE
Departure on your overnight transatlantic flight to Prague with meals enroute.

DAY 2 - FRIDAY – PRAGUE (D)
Arrival today at the Prague airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Dinner in a local restaurant with folklore dances.

DAY 3 - SATURDAY - PRAGUE (B)
Tour into the old part of the city to view the Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock, the Jewish Quarter, St. Nicholas Church, Charles Bridge, and other sights of this captivating city. The balance of the day is at leisure. Tonight enjoy an opera performance.

DAY 4 - SUN - PRAGUE (B)
Today, cross the Vltava River to visit the Royal Castle of Hradcany and St. Vitus Cathedral. The afternoon and evening are at leisure.

DAY 5 - MON – PRAGUE/VIENNA (B, D)
Travel to Vienna, the “City of Waltz” (by motor coach or First class train). Arrival to your hotel. Dinner in a local Heurigan restaurant. Overnight.

DAY 6 - TUE - VIENNA (B)
On your morning sightseeing tour, visit the Hofburg Palace, once the seat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and view the Belvedere Palace, Prater amusement park, the UN buildings, St. Stephen's Cathedral and other vivid reminders of the city's imperial history. After a free afternoon, enjoy an evening concert of Strauss' and Mozart's music.

DAY 7 - WED - VIENNA (B)
Morning guided visit to Kunst-Historishe Museum. Afternoon free.

DAY 8 - THU – VIENNA/BUDAPEST (B)
This morning we travel eastbound (by motor coach or First class train) towards Budapest, often called “The Paris of the East”. Afternoon free for shopping or optional excursions.

DAY 9 - FRIDAY – BUDAPEST (B)
Situated on the opposite banks of the Danube River, the former cities of Buda and Pest are linked by a series of graceful bridges. Your morning sightseeing tour includes views of the decorative Parliament building, seat of the National Assembly; Vaci Utca, a pedestrian street lined with shops and restaurants; Heroes' Square with the Millennium Memorial, 118 foot high Corinthian column dedicated to the Roman Catholic Church, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The balance of the day is at leisure.

DAY 10 - SATURDAY - BUDAPEST (B,D)
Sightseeing tour this morning focuses on the Castle Hill area, the 13th century Matthias Church, Fisherman's Bastion and Royal Palace. Afternoon is free for last minute shopping or independent exploration. Tonight, enjoy dinner with entertainment in a typical csarda restaurant.

DAY 11 - SUNDAY - DEPART BUDAPEST (B)
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
