Itinerary
 Day
1 : USA-BELIZE CITY
Depart USA to Belize City. Meeting and assistance upon arrival
in Belize City, then transfer to your hotel. Balance of day
at leisure.
Day 2 : BELIZE ZOO-XUNANTUNICH- CAYO AREA (B,L,D)
Today's full day tour includes a visit to the "Belize Zoo," Belize's natural
wildlife habitat. From there, depart via the western highway to the Maya site
of Xunantunich, on the
banks of the Mopan River (you are hand-cranked across the
Mopan River by a 19th century ferry). Among the partially
excavated ruins are 1,400 year old stucco friezes, stone
carvings, vaulted buildings and El Castillo, a classic Mayan temple
and the second tallest building in Belize (127 feet). Tour
the site and view breathtaking scenery of untouched jungle.
Dinner and overnight in an inland hotel.
Day 3 : MOUNTAIN PINE RIDGE FOREST RESERVE (B,L,D)
After breakfast, embark on a full day tour to the Mountain
Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. Here you will have the opportunity
to see the natural beauty of the reserve including the Rio
Frio caves, 1,000 ft. Hidden Valley Falls and a chance for
swimming in the cool waters of Rio On Pools. Dinner and overnight
in an inland resort.
Day
4 : PANTI MEDICINAL TRAIL- CAHAL PECH (B,L)
This morning you will board a river canoe for a tour on the
Macal River en route to the Panti Medicinal Plant Trail (there
is a bounty of wildlife to observe). Continue to the Mayan
site of Cahal Pech, a site with 34 buildings currently being
excavated. Return to Belize City fo overnight.
Day 5 : BELIZE CITY-DANGRIGA (B,L,D)
Following an early breakfast, transfer to the airport for
the short flight to Dangriga, a cultural town where you can visit the local craft shops and artisans. Afternoon trip to South Water Caye for snorkeling. Visit the Frigate Bird Sanctuary at Man-o-War Caye, then return to your hotel in Dangriga for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 : SOUTH WATER CAYE-MAN O WAR CAYE (B,L,D)

full day tour including a visit to the Cockscomb Basin
Wildlife
Jaguar Preserve, the only one of its kind in the world.
Then visit the Garifuna village of Hopkins, and the Maya
Center.
Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Dangriga.
Day 7 : DANGRIGA-BELIZE CITY(B )
Morning transfer with sightseeing en route to Gales Point
Manatee and river boat transfer through the inland waterways
to Belize Cityl. Overnight.
Day 8 : BELIZE CITY (BARRIER REEF) (B,L)
Today enjoy a full day at the nearby cayes of Belize's Great
Barrier Reef with lunch on a remote island. For those
who
enjoy snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean,
snorkel gear is included. Return to the hotel - overnight.
Day 9 : BELIZE CITY-USA (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Belize City International Airport
for your flight home.
