Itinerary
DAY 1: USA - ATHENS
Departure on your overnight flight to Athens.
DAY 2: ATHENS
Arrival today at the Athens International Airport where you will be met by FreeGate personnel and assisted through Customs and baggage claim formalities. Transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day at leisure.
DAY 3: ATHENS (B)
After breakfast at the hotel depart on an Athens city tour, which will introduce you to the most important sites of the city. Visit the famed Acropolis with its dominating view, and the site of the renowned Parthenon, one of the most impressive structures in the world. Continue to the Acropolis Museum.
DAY 4: ATHENS - SANTORINI (B)
Transfer from your hotel to the airport for the flight to Santorini. Upon
arrival, meet with our local representative and transfer to your hotel. Remainder
of the day at leisure.
DAYS 5 - 6: SANTORINI (B)
Days at leisure to enjoy this distinctive island. Santorini, also known
as the Island of Atlantis, has excavations at Akrotiri, a dormant volcano
and black sand beaches. You may enjoy relaxing at the beach and then
taking in the sights and sounds of the nightlife in town.
DAY 7: SANTORINI
- CRETE (B, D)
Transfer from your hotel to the port for the sea transportation to
Crete. Upon arrival,
transfer to your hotel. Remainder
of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 8: CRETE (B, L or D)
Day at leisure. Crete is the largest and southern most of all the Greek
islands. With a multitude of archaeological sites such as Knossos, high
mountains and beautiful sandy beaches, Crete offers
an ideal vacation place for all, locals and visitors alike.
DAY 9:
CRETE (B, L or D)
Full day at leisure. You may embark on a sightseeing tour, swim at one
of the island’s many beaches, or simply relax and enjoy the
facilities of your hotel.
DAY 10: CRETE - RHODES (B, D)
Transfer from your hotel to the port for the sea transportation to Rhodes.
Upon
arrival, transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.
DAY 11: RHODES (B, L or D)
Rhodes, the Island of the Roses, is the largest and most popular of the Dodecanese islands. Explore the Old City, in which the crusading Knights of St. John built their castle, still standing in excellent condition today. Or visit Lindos, its ancient Acropolis and the inviting white-sanded beach below.
DAY 12: RHODES (B, L or D)
At leisure. At night, the new section of the city is filled with the sounds of Greek folk music, mixed with the modern tunes from the discos and the nightclubs.
DAY 13: RHODES - ATHENS - DEPARTURE (B)
Today you will fly to Athens, where you connect with your departing flight home.
