Itinerary

DAY 1 - Thu: USA-ISTANBUL
Depart via overnight transatlantic flight from New York to Istanbul with meals on board.

DAY 2 - Fri: ISTANBUL
Upon arrival at Istanbul’s airport you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day on your own to relax or get acquainted with this fascinating city.

DAY 3 - Sat: ISTANBUL (B)
Full day tour to include: Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar. Optional: Dinner with belly dancing entertainment.

Day 4 - Sun : ISTANBUL - ANKARA (B, D)
This morning Optional tour of St.Sophia and Bosphorus cruise, Afternoon departure for Ankara around 3:00 PM and late arrival at Ankara.

Day 5 - Mon : ANKARA – CAPPADOCIA (B,D)
Morning departure to view Hittite artifacts at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. Visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk,father of modern Turkey. Drive to Cappadocia, touring a 13th century caravan inn en route. Overnight in Cappadocia

Day 6 - Tue : CAPPADOCIA (B,D)
Tour Goreme’s rock chapels decorated with 6th century frescoes, Zelve’s cliff-side Byzantine monastic complex and Uchisar’s natural citadel,Sarhatli underground city. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia

Day 7 - Wed: CAPPADOCIA - PAMUKKALE (B,D)
Drive to Pamukkale. En route we visit the famous mouseleum of the sufi philosopher Mevlana. Drive to Pamukkale , dinner and overnight

Day 8 - Thu : PAMMUKALE – KUSADASI (B,D)
Today is the day to pay an early morning visit unique Cotton Fortress, the white calcium cascades, and also pay a visit to one of the first modern spa centers of the ancient world, Hierapolis. Then we drive to Kusadasi. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi

Day 9 - Fri: EPHESUS & ST. MARY'S HOUSE - KUSADASI (B,D)
Full day tour the famous ruins of Ephesus and St.Mary’s Cottage. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
Afternoon Optional: tour of Sardis or Sirince

Day 10 - Sat : KUSADASI - ISTANBUL(B)
Transfer to Izmir for your flight to Istanbul. Check in at hotel. Overnight.
GREEK ISLAND CRUISE OPTION: Instead of flying to Istanbul, embark on a 3-day Greek Island cruise leaving from Kusadasi and ending in Athens, Greece. PLEASE INQUIRE.

DAY 12 - Sun: ISTANBUL - DEPARTURE (B)
Transfer to the Istanbul airport for your departing flight.
