DAY 1: USA/ROME
Depart via overnight transatlantic flight to Rome with meals
en route.
DAY 2: ROME
You will be welcomed by our representatives and transferred
to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
DAY 3: ROME (B)
Rome is ancient, modern, sophisticated, religious, cosmopolitan
and historical. Your morning tour touches on each of its
many faces: The Trevi fountain, Pantheon, and the Basilica
of St. Peter. The afternoon is at leisure.
DAY 4: ROME (B)
Full day at leisure to explore on your own. Relax, do some
shopping, or take in one of the many museums this city has
to offer.
DAY 5: ROME - FLORENCE (B)
Transfer today to the rail station for your train to Florence,
city of Michelangelo and a paradise for art lovers and shopping
enthusiasts. Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer
to the hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure.
DAY 6: FLORENCE (B)
Today visit the Duomo, the Baptistry's Gates of Paradise
and Michelangelo's David. Continue to the Cathedral, Piazzale
Michelangelo, the Pitti Palace, and more. The afternoon
is at leisure for exploring or shopping, perhaps even an
optional tour to nearby Pisa.
DAY 7: FLORENCE (B)
Enjoy a full day at leisure to discover all this artistic
city has to offer.
DAY 8: FLORENCE - VENICE (B)
Transfer to the station for your train ride to the floating
city of Venice. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred
to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
DAY 9: VENICE (B)
This remarkable city boasts the most extraordinary collection
of architectural styles in Europe. Your walking tour includes
the Doge's Palace, St. Mark's square, the Golden Basilica
and the Bridge of Sighs.
DAY 10: VENICE (B)
Enjoy a full day at leisure, perhaps to take an optional
excursion to the islands of Burano, Murano and Torcello,
famed for their hand-blown glass and lace-making crafts.
DAY 11: VENICE - DEPARTURE (B)
Transfer to the airport for your departing flight.
