Itinerary
Day
1 : USA-BUENOS AIRES
Depart from the USA on your overnight flight to Buenos Aires,
with meals on board.
Day 2 : BUENOS AIRES
Meeting and assistance upon arrival; transfer to your hotel.
Balance of day at leisure.
Day 3 : BUENOS AIRES (B)
Today, you will become acquainted with the city of Buenos
Aires, also known as the "Paris of Latin America", by embarking
on a sightseeing tour. You will visit all major points of
the city including the Plaza de Mayo, Avenida 9 de Julio
and
the famous Italian district of La Boca. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 4 : BUENOS AIRES (B,D)
Today provides you with the entire day free to continue exploration
of Buenos Aires on your own. In the evening, experience one
of the true highlights of your tour, a Dinner & Tango
Show.
Day 5 : BUENOS AIRES -TRELEW (B,D)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to
Trelew. Meeting and assistance at Trelew Airport, then transfer
to Puerto Madryn. Check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 : PUERTO MADRYN (B,L,D)
Today you will embark upon a full day tour passing through
the Ameghino Isthmus between the New and San Jose Gulfs .
You will visit Caleta Valdes, the habitat of sea elephants,
Punta Delgada, and continue to Puerto Piramide, where there
is a Sea Lion Rockery.
Day 7 : PUERTO MADRYN - USHUAIA (B,D)
Morning tour of the famous Punta Tombo Rockery to admire the
Magellan penguins. Transfer to Trelew airport for your flight
to Ushuaia, followed by transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon
your city tour will include Ushuaia Bay, the downtown port,
the industrial area and the renowned End of the World Museum.
Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 8 : USHUAIA (B,D)
After breakfast, depart on an unforgettable trip on the Tierra
del Fuego Southern Railway: "The Train to the End of the World".
This small train goes through the Pipo River across the Quemado
Bridge as it makes its way into the Tierra del Fuego National
Park. Continue through the Canadon del Toro, Monte Susana,
Lago Roca and a brief stop to see the "Wood House". Return
to hotel.
Day 9: USHUAIA (B,D)
Fly to Rio Gallegos. Motor coach transfer across the vast
plateau of sky and horizon to El Calafate (350 km). Check
in at your hotel.
Day 10 : EL CALAFATE (B,D)
Full day lake excursion to see Upsala Glacier and Onelli Bay
in the Los Glaciares National Park. This area was declared
a Monument of the World Patrimony by UNESCO. Return to your
hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 11 : EL CALAFATE (B,D)
Today, embark on an overland trip to Perito Moreno Glacier,
one of the world's largest active continental glaciers. Only
200 meters above sea level, it has become the biggest attraction
of the region thanks to its spectacular beauty. Evening return
to El Calafate for dinner and overnight.
Day 12 : EL CALAFATE - BUENOS AIRES - USA
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Rio Gallegos airport
for the flight to Buenos Aires, where you will connect with
the USA bound flight.
