Morning guided tour of the Spanish capital city including major points of interest: Plaza de Oriente, Plaza de Espa_a, Royal Palace, Calle Mayor, Puerta del Sol, The Parliament building, Pazas of Neptuno & Cibeles, Paseo del Prado, Alcala Gate and more. Afternoon at leisure to continue exploring the city on your own or to take a suggested optional tour to the nearby ancient former capital city of Toledo, perched on a rocky outcropping and nearly surrounded by the Tagus River. Overnight.

DAY 4: MADRID (B)
Breakfast. Day at leisure to explore Madrid on your own. We suggest you browse through the flea market (El Rastro) held only on Sundays, visit the world-famous museums or the Royal Palace, or sip some coffee and people watch in the Plaza Mayor. Or you may as well take a side trip to the historic cities of Avila or Segovia all very close to the capital city. Overnight.

After breakfast at your hotel embark on a morning tour including the main monuments and highlights of the city: Plaza of the Americas, Plaza de Espana, Maria Luisa Park, San Telmo Palace, Guadalquivir River, Golden Tower, Cathedral, Giralda, Alcazares and the typical Santa Cruz Quarter. Afternoon at leisure to rub elbows with the locals over a glass of "Manzanilla", a very popular local wine, take a short cruise on the Guadalquivir River and enjoy some "Tapas" before dinner (not included) at the famous Santa Cruz Quarter or the Quarter of Triana. We suggest and optional horse drawn carriage tour along downtown Seville and a typical flamenco show.
