DAY 1: DEPART USA
Depart from the USA on your overnight transatlantic flight
to Spain with meals onboard.
DAY 2: MADRID
Morning arrival in Madrid.
Meet and greet at the airport
and transfer to your hotel. The
Spanish capital is a Mecca for
cosmopolitans and art lovers
with its unparalleled nightlife,
shopping, historic attractions,
and scores of world-famous
museums. Remainder of the day
at leisure. Overnight.
DAY 3: MADRID (B)
Breakfast. Morning guided tour
of the Spanish capital city
including major points of interest:
Plaza de Oriente, Plaza de
Espa_a, Royal Palace, Calle
Mayor, Puerta del Sol, The
Parliament building, Pazas of
Neptuno & Cibeles, Paseo del
Prado, Alcala Gate and more.
Afternoon at leisure to continue
exploring the city on your own
or to take a suggested optional
tour to the nearby ancient former
capital city of Toledo,
perched on a rocky outcropping
and nearly surrounded by the
Tagus River. Overnight.
DAY 4: MADRID (B)
Breakfast. Day at leisure to
explore Madrid on your own.
We suggest you browse through
the flea market (El Rastro) held
only on Sundays, visit the
world-famous museums or the
Royal Palace, or sip some coffee
and people watch in the Plaza
Mayor. Or you may as well take
a side trip to the historic cities of
Avila or Segovia all very close to
the capital city. Overnight.
DAY 5: MADRID - SEVILLE (B)
Breakfast. Transfer to the railroad
station for an early morning
ride aboard the High Speed
train for the 2.5 hour ride to
Seville. Upon arrival at the railroad
station, meet with our local
representatives and transfer to
your hotel. Overnight accommodations.
DAY 6: SEVILLE (B)
After breakfast at your hotel
embark on a morning tour
including the main monuments
and highlights of the city: Plaza
of the Americas, Plaza de
Espana, Maria Luisa Park, San
Telmo Palace, Guadalquivir
River, Golden Tower,
Cathedral, Giralda, Alcazares
and the typical Santa Cruz
Quarter. Afternoon at leisure to
rub elbows with the locals over
a glass of "Manzanilla", a very
popular local wine, take a short
cruise on the Guadalquivir River
and enjoy some "Tapas" before
dinner (not included) at the
famous Santa Cruz Quarter or
the Quarter of Triana. We suggest
and optional horse drawn
carriage tour along downtown
Seville and a typical flamenco
show.
DAY 7:
SEVILLE - CORDOBA (B)
After breakfast full day to
Cordoba where you will visit the
famous Arab Mosque, now a
Cathedral and the famous
Jewish quarters with a marvelous
Mudejar-style Synagogue.
Return to Seville in the evening
for overnight at your hotel.
DAY 8: SEVILLE - USA(B)
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the USA.
