DAY 1: DEPART USA
Depart New York via overnight transatlantic flight with
meals on board.
DAY 2: MADRID
Morning arrival in Madrid. Meeting with your local host
and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is
at leisure.
DAY 3: MADRID (B)
Your morning begins with a
tour of Madrid featuring the
Prado Museum, the Royal
Palace, the Puerta del Sol and
the Retiro Park. The afternoon
is at leisure - explore the city on
your own or take an optional
tour to El Escorial or Segovia. In
the evening you may want to
visit one of the city’s fine
DAY 4: MADRID - CORDOBA -
SEVILLE (B, L, D)
After breakfast depart on your
tour which begins with a drive
through La Mancha and Cordoba.
Lunch. The city tour will include
visits to the Arab Mosque, and
the Jewish Quarter with a marvelous
Mudejar-style Synagogue.
Continue to Seville for dinner
and overnight.
DAY 5: SEVILLE (B, D)
After breakfast today you will
visit Spain's largest Cathedral,
the Giralda Tower, the Alcazar
Palace & Gardens, the old
Jewish Quarters, the Maria
Luisa Park and more. The afternoon
is free for you to enjoy this
beautiful city. Dinner and
overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6: SEVILLE - GRANADA (B, D)
After breakfast depart to Granada.
Built in the foothills of the Sierra
Nevada mountain range, it was
the stronghold of the Nazeri
Dynasty and the last Moorish
kingdom of Spain. Sightseeing
includes the famous Alhambra
fortress and the supreme monument
of Moorish architecture,
the Palace of Charles V and the
gardens of the Generalife.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 7: GRANADA - VALENCIA (B, L)
After breakfast depart towards
the Mediterranean coast to
Valencia, the capital city of the
region. Valencia is famous for its
unique fiesta of St. Joseph
known as “Las Fallas”. The city
has a priceless Gothic architectural
heritage, including the
Lonja and El Miguelete, the
Cathedral bell tower. Dinner and
overnight.
DAY 8: VALENCIA - BARCELONA (B)
Enjoy a morning at leisure in
Valencia.
In the early
afternoon you will continue
your journey along the
Mediterranean coast and arrive
in Barcelona.
DAY 9: BARCELONA (B)
Barcelona is the historical capital
of Catalonia and Spain’s second
largest city in both size and
importance. Sightseeing includes
the old Gothic Quarter with its
magnificent Cathedral, the
Spanish Village and the Plaza De
Los Canonigos, the monument
to Christopher Columbus,
and more. The remainder of the
day is at leisure.
DAY 10: BARCELONA - ZARAGOZA - MADRID
(B)
Departure through Lleida and
Zaragoza. Time free to explore
on your own. Drive to Madrid
for overnight.
DAY 11: MADRID - USA (B)
After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to
the airport for your departing flight home.
