DAY 1: USA/MADRID
Evening departure from USA . Dinner and breakfast will be
served on board.
DAY 2: MADRID
Our Representative will meet you and transfer you to your
hotel. Balance of the day leisure. Madrid, the Capital City
of Spain, has a lot to offer its visitors. Monuments, museums,
excellent shopping, side walk cafes in Plaza Mayor or in
Gran Via.
DAY 3: MADRID (B)
Your morning begins with a tour of Madrid featuring the
Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, the Puerta del Sol and the
Retiro Park. The afternoon is at leisure to explore this
city on your own or relax in one of the many sidewalk cafes.
DAY 4: MADRID (B)
Full day at leisure. Today you may enjoy an optional full
day tour to Toledo, Valley of the Fallen and Escorial with
lunch. In the evening you may participate on an optional
Dinner and Flamenco night tour.
DAY 5: MADRID - BILBAO (B)
Morning transfer to the airport of your flight to Bilbao
in northern Spain. Upon arrival you will be met by your
local host and transferred to your hotel. Bilbao is the
sixth largest city in Spain. In the afternoon explore the
Old Quarters (Siete Calles) and visit the brand new Guggenheim
Museum, a masterpiece of 20th century architecture, where
you can spend most of the afternoon exploring this magnificent
museum. Balance of the day at leisure.
DAY 6: BILBAO (B)
Full day at leisure to explore the magnificent brand new
Guggenheim Museum.
DAY 7: BILBAO - BARCELONA (B)
Morning transfer to Bilbao airport for your flight to Barcelona,
the capital of the province of Cataluna. You will be met
by your local host and transferred to your hotel. Balance
of the day at leisure.
DAY 8: BARCELONA (B)
Barcelona is Spain's second largest city in both size and
importance, with a rich architectural heritage. The tour
of the city includes the Old Gothic Quarter with its magnificent
Cathedral, the Spanish Village and the Plaza de los Canonigos,
the monument to Christopher Colombus, and more. The remainder
of the day is at leisure.
DAY 9: BARCELONA (B)
Full day at leisure. Great opportunity for participating
on a half day optional tour to Montserrat. In the evening
you may join an optional tour to see a Flamenco Show with
dinner.
DAY 10: BARCELONA - DEPARTURE (B)
Morning transfer to Barcelona Airport for your flight home.
