the original paper coupons are returned to FreeGate via
a trackable package; e-tickets do not need
to be returned. Lost paper tickets have no refund value.

of claims will take up to six weeks from the date
FreeGate receives relevant documents. No terms set forth
in this publication and/or web site may be changed
by anyone other than an authorized representative of
FreeGate Tourism and must be documented in writing. FreeGate
is not obligated to grant refunds promised
(written or verbal) by local hotel staff, tour guides,
or any other person not under direct employment of FreeGate
Tourism.
DOCUMENTS: Upon receipt of the pre-determined deposit,
an invoice will be issued by FreeGate indicating prices on
all items of the tour, insurance and / or other fees and costs.
Final documents, tickets and vouchers, will be mailed 21 days
prior to tour departure, provided that full payment has been
received at least 45 days prior, and the amount has been credited
to FreeGate's bank account.
AIR
TRANSPORTATION: The
prices listed in each tour price chart include round trip
international air transportation in Economy Class from
the specified US gateway to the tour destination via an
IATA carrier. The applicable taxes and possible fuel surcharges
in conjunction with
airline tickets are not included in any of the tour prices
and will be invoiced separately at the time of booking.
AIRLINE
SURCHARGES: Airline
fuel surcharges are not included in your airfare.
Fuel surcharges are subject to change without notice due
to fluctuating oil prices. We reserve the right to amend
your airfare due to increases in fuel surcharges imposed
by your airline. To avoid potential increases, you may choose
to pay for your airline tickets in full at any time in order
that tickets may be issued. Once issued, tickets are no longer
subject to potential increases but may be non-refundable -
please inquire.
HOTELS: Hotels
are categorized as per evaluation by each country's tourist
authorities. Prices are based on two passengers sharing
a twin / double-bedded room.
All rooms are double or twin-bedded
with private facilities, standard category,
unless
a) otherwise indicated in the "Included Features"
section of the tour description or
2) passengers
have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room
category.
Special requests such as bed types, smoking preference
and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Room
selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly
at the discretion of the hotel's management on a "run-of-the-house"
basis. The number of single accommodations
is limited on each departure; if available, it can be purchased
at a supplement. Triple rooms consist of standard twin
or double beds plus a sofa/folding bed or cot for third
person. The number of persons accommodated is not indicative
of the room size. Hotel service charges and taxes are included
in the tour price. FreeGate reserves the right to substitute
any hotel with another of similar category prior to departure
or during the tour.
TRANSFERS/LAND TRANSPORTATION: Included as per tour
itinerary, provided that the passengers do not alter their
arrival or departure dates and flights. Otherwise, passengers
should make separate transfer arrangements either on their
own or through FreeGate at an extra cost. Depending on the
size of the group, land transportation may be effected by
private car, van, mini-bus or full-size air-conditioned motorcoach.
CRUISES: All cruise ships used in FreeGate programs
are fully air-conditioned. Prices for cruise-inclusive tours
are based on accommodation in inside cabins with 2 lower
beds and private facilities, unless otherwise specified in
the "Included Features" section
and tour price chart. Upgrades to higher categories on
the ship can be offered upon request at a supplement.
EXCURSIONS / SIGHTSEEING: As described in each itinerary,
escorted by an English speaking guide; entrance fees to sites
visited are included in the tour price. Cruise shore excursions
in conjunction with Mediterranean cruises are optional and
they may be purchased in advance in the USA if so requested
upon the time of booking, or on board the ship during the
cruise. Shore excursions are included on all Nile cruises.
MEALS: All tours include daily breakfast; other meals
as specified in tour itinerary (B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner).
All meals are included on the Mediterranean and Nile cruises,
except for yacht cruises where breakfast and lunch OR dinner
is offered daily.
LUGGAGE: Porterage
for one normal size suitcase and one carry-on piece per
passenger is included in the tour price. For
flights to/from the USA, most airlines permit two pieces
of checked luggage each weighing up to about 50lbs.
However, airline policies vary and may change at any time,
and excess luggage will be subject to additional charges.
For multi-day land tours we strongly recommend only one
suitcase per two passengers. Neither FreeGate nor its authorized
representatives abroad will be held responsible for charges
levied by the airlines, and for loss or damage to luggage
and personal belongings. Luggage insurance is strongly
recommended.
NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE: Airport departure
taxes; exit taxes in Latin America countries, which must be
paid locally; port taxes for Mediterranean cruises;
passport and visa fees; camera fees; excess baggage fees;
laundry; telephone calls; wine and / or other liquors; mineral
waters or soft drinks; meals not included in the itinerary;
sightseeing or services other than those specifically mentioned
in the itinerary; tips to motorcoach drivers when touring
and tour guides as well as tips to stewards on cruises, which
are customary but are left to the passengers' discretion.
PASSPORTS & VISAS: All passengers must be in possession
of a passport valid at least six months after the tour commencement.
As each country's visa requirements vary for US or non-US
citizens, we recommend that you consult with the respective
country's embassy and / or consulate. It is the sole responsibility
of the passengers to obtain the proper documentation and
visas independently.
POSSIBLE CHANGES: FreeGate Tourism reserves the right
to substitute any hotel or cruise ship listed with one of
similar category. Tour and cruise companies reserve the right
to modify their itineraries. No refund can be considered in
the event of absence or deviation from the tour, unless specific
arrangements have been made at the time of booking the tour.
Accidents en route may require trip interruption; FreeGate
strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance
(accident, baggage, trip interruption, etc.) which can be
obtained through either FreeGate or your travel agent. Unexpected
and unforeseen local conditions beyond the control of FreeGate
may force the company to alter or curtail the itinerary of
the tour in order to secure the passengers' safety, health
and enjoyment. In such cases, FreeGate will endeavor to provide
comparable substitutes or to effect refunds; any savings realized
for such changes will be passed on to the traveler and any
resultant expenses will be borne by the traveler.
RESPONSIBILITY / LIABILITY CLAUSE: FreeGate Tourism

the clients in all matters pertaining to travel by air or
surface. They shall not be or become liable for any loss,

losses or delays or additional expenses resulting from insufficient
or improperly issued passports and / or visas and other documents,
or from any other causes beyond FreeGate's control; neither
FreeGate nor its affiliates or representatives shall become
liable or responsible for any additional expenses or liability
sustained or occurred by the tour member as a result of any
of the foregoing causes. The tickets, coupons, tariffs, rules
or contracts currently in use by any carrier, hotel, restaurant
or other contractor rendering services shall constitute the
sole contract between such contractor and the tour member.
No carrier shall be responsible for any act, omission or event
during the time passengers are not on aboard its own conveyance.
The right is reserved to cancel or change itineraries or substitute
services without notice and to decline, accept, or retain
any participant as a member of these tours at any time. The
right is reserved until the time of departure to change the
rates and fares referred to on this website without prior
notification due to changes in current tariffs, fluctuation
of exchange rates or fuel surcharges.
ARBITRATION: All disputes and matters shall be litigated,
if at all, in and before a court located in Nassau County,
New York State, USA, to the exclusion of the courts of any
other county or state.
The issuance and acceptance of tickets and/ or other documents
in connection with a service provided by FreeGate Tourism
is considered acceptance of the aforementioned Terms and Conditions.
In view of statutory or contractual limitations that may
apply to personal injury or property damage losses, THE PURCHASE
OF COMPREHENSIVE
